What are Candy AI videos?
Candy AI videos are the episodes in Candy Shorts, the section of Candy.ai that hosts scripted series. Each episode is a vertical clip of roughly 60 to 119 seconds, and a series is a run of them. The shelf counted 190 series on October 29, 2026. These are not feature films, so a search for a full movie ends at a set of short episodes.
A second kind exists under the same login: videos you generate yourself. Premium lists Generate 18+ Videos among its benefits, a list that read the same when I checked it on September 24 and on October 19, 2026. This guide covers both, starting with the one you play.
| You want to | Route | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Watch a story | Episodes 1 and 2 of an open series | A free account |
| Keep going | Episode 3 and later | A token price per episode |
| Watch a Spicy series | The locked Spicy section | Premium |
| Make your own clip | The Premium video generator | A Premium plan |
| Use it on a phone | Get App on the plans page | A phone browser |
Does Candy AI have an app?
Candy AI has no downloadable app file. The plans page offers Get App, which walks you through putting the site on your home screen from the browser. On iPhone you open the Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. On Android the same option sits in the browser menu. I saw that prompt in the plan details on October 19, 2026.
The shortcut puts an icon on your phone, and tapping it loads the same site. The player is cut for a phone held upright, and a desktop browser shows it in a tall narrow frame. Series pages carried no download button on September 24, 2026, so offline copies are not part of the product. If a site or an app store listing offers one, it comes from a third party, and the account you would create there is not a Candy.ai account.
Which Candy AI videos are free?
In an open series, episodes 1 and 2 play at $0. The opener plays without registration, and the second episode asks for a free account. That covers the 173 open series on the shelf (checked October 29, 2026). Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right goes one further and gives you three free episodes.
The free pair plays in two to four minutes, which is enough to judge the format on a free account. The free episodes guide lists where the paywall begins in each case. Spicy series work differently: 17 of them stay locked for visitors, and Premium opens episodes 1 and 2 of those at 0 tokens (September 24, 2026). The Spicy label guide explains what that label covers.
How do episodes unlock with tokens?
Episodes after the free pair cost tokens, and the price depends on the series. Pricing splits in two across the 173 open series: 158 bill 12 tokens per later episode, while 15 bill 30 (October 29, 2026). Each Premium plan carries 100 tokens a month, so one month pays for 8 episodes at the lower tier or 3 at the higher.
| Tier | Open series | Cost of a 5-episode series after the free pair | Episodes in 100 tokens |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 tokens | 158 | 36 tokens | 8 |
| 30 tokens | 15 | 90 tokens | 3 |
Longer series scale the same way. My Bestie Betrayed Me has 34 episodes, and its 32 paid episodes at 12 tokens come to 384. YES MA'AM has 35, and its 33 paid episodes come to 396 tokens, about four months of the monthly allowance (October 29, 2026). Plan prices start at $3.99 a month for a year and rise to $13.99 on month-to-month billing. The pricing guide lists the three plans and how to cancel.
Can you generate your own Candy AI video?
Premium lists a video generator, named Generate 18+ Videos on the plans page, next to Generate 18+ Images and unlimited text messages. It is a feature of the paid plan and sits apart from the Shorts library, so neither the free episodes nor the 100 monthly tokens go toward it. The plan also lists a chat with unlimited text messages, which is a separate part of the product.
If making clips is your goal, the plan price is the entry cost: a year of Premium works out to $3.99 a month, paid as one $47.88 charge. If watching is your goal, the generator is optional. The free episodes and the 100 monthly tokens cover the library without it. The Candy AI review weighs the plan as a whole, chat and generators included.
What is the difference between a Candy AI video and a Candy AI series?
A video is one episode, and a series is the set of episodes that tell one story. The library sells series: each has a poster, a cast, a premise and a token price per episode. Most series are compact: 161 of the 173 open ones stop at five episodes, so a whole story plays in five to ten minutes.
Two series run far longer than that, and both have reviews: YES MA'AM and My Bestie Betrayed Me. For a five-episode run at 12 tokens a paid episode, try Kiss the Bride, Stepbro or My Best Friend's Mom Teaches Pilates. The series hub lists the full set of reviews.
