Mona and David are adult stepsiblings, and the series puts them under one roof. Mona keeps a carefully organized view of the world, and David is the last man she wants to respect. I sat through both free episodes on October 29, 2026.
Episode 1: A honk, a raccoon excuse and a ride home
The episode opens with Mona furious that David honked at her. He answers that her father and his partner are away for work, and that he has been told to look after her. Mona insists he is not her type.
David keeps looking at her during the ride, and Mona tells him that is exactly why he gets turned down. He covers with an excuse: "I just saw a raccoon crossing the road." The car reaches the house, and Mona admits the staring was a little cute.
Episode 2: Dishes, a deal and a night at a club
David wakes Mona to say that her father's new partner wants the two of them to do the dishes. She refuses and tells him to do them himself. He proposes a trade: "You do the dishes, and I'll take you out clubbing."
Mona does not want a night out with her stepbrother, and he teases her until she gives in. She does the dishes and asks whether he is satisfied. Afterward he hands her a present for the club night, and she asks if she looks good. His answer earns an "Ugh, gross."
The longer arc
From there the series escalates the feud with wit, stubbornness and a string of poor choices, and Mona's tidy worldview is overturned. The 15 episodes stretch that over a long run.
