Episode 1: The class she skipped
The wife calls from work, apologizes for being stuck there and tells her husband to go to the lesson without her. The instructor takes this as an opening. If the wife is absent, she says, then the husband will dance with her.
The first lesson is a basic one, with counting and the instructor's rule that tango lives in the hips. By week two the wife has canceled again. The instructor tells the husband his wife is missing out, then that his wife isn't coming at all.

Episode 2: A routine for one

Then the wife finally turns up to class. She watches her husband move and tells him he has not danced like that before. The instructor's answer implies where he learned it. The wife still reads it all as choreography, and she leaves for a work dinner with a suggestion that he stay and practice.
The instructor closes the episode by telling him he has more to learn and that his private lessons start now.
