A booked babysitter and a husband: how the story begins
The wife books a babysitter and heads out for the evening. In this Candy Shorts story, Sophia is that sitter, an adult who works by the hour and has a boyfriend, and she arrives to find the husband, Mr. Owen, waiting at home. The free pair was on my screen on October 29, 2026, and Sophia takes charge within the first minute.
Episode 1: Paid by the hour
Sophia tells the husband his wife said to help herself to whatever she likes in the house. She compliments the wife, then makes clear she is very good at her job. Within a minute she is the one steering the conversation, and Owen is following.
Her phone interrupts. A boyfriend is calling, and Sophia tells him she is babysitting and cannot talk. When Owen asks whether that was her boyfriend, she answers "For now."
She asks what time the wife is due home and learns it is midnight. Her answer settles the tone: she is paid by the hour, so he can put her to work. The episode stops on that offer.
Episode 2: Midnight moves
Episode 2 opens with the clock running. Owen reminds Sophia that he is married, and she replies that she has a boyfriend, too, and that this is the fun part. Neither of them backs away.
Then the wife calls. Her night out is going so well that she is staying at a friend's place, and she tells Owen to pay the sitter for the whole night. He answers as a loyal husband, and the call ends with "Love you."
Once the line goes quiet, Sophia points out that the wife is staying out, which means her paid hours run to morning. The house is quiet, and the evening is wide open.

On Candy AI Shorts, Sophia is an adult woman with a job and a boyfriend, and the series treats her as a professional who knows how the evening works. Mr. Owen is her client's husband. The wife stays mostly off screen, a voice on the phone, and a friend named Jen is only mentioned.
All of them are adults, written as original characters, with no real performer behind them.
