A 90-minute massage booked as a gift: how it starts
Lauren gives her husband Dan a home massage for their anniversary, then goes to work in the next room. Veronica, the masseuse, has her own ideas about how the session goes. The free pair was my viewing for the October 29, 2026 price check.
Episode 1: A candle against a 90-minute gift
Dan opens by explaining that his wife booked him a massage for their anniversary. He got her a candle. Lauren says Veronica is booked out for months, mentions that she skipped the couples package, and adds that today is about Dan.
Lauren heads off to work next door and tells him to enjoy it. Dan says it is his first time with a professional, and Veronica promises to be gentle. She says Lauren warned her he is hard to relax, and she corrects herself to "difficult."
Veronica asks where he wants her to focus, and Dan says the shoulders, mostly. She calls him a man who keeps it all inside. Lauren checks in from the next room about lavender or vanilla. Veronica ends the episode by telling Dan to put on what she hands him and wear only that.
Episode 2: Range of motion
Veronica opens with questions that sound clinical: any injuries, and whether the rest of him works. Dan answers about his shoulder. She asks about his range of motion, and the answer comes back that he is very flexible.
When Lauren calls from the next room about a missing charger, Veronica tells Dan to stay and says she will close up to keep the warmth in. She says the racket next door will keep him from relaxing. Dan reminds her that racket is his wife.
Veronica tells him to turn over. Lauren calls through the wall to ask if it feels good. Veronica answers for him that he is very tense, and she adds that his wife paid for the full treatment.
