A party for forty guests is coming on Saturday, and Mom does not know. Her adult daughter runs the plan from the inside of the house, and her stepdad has one job: keep Mom busy and out of the way. The free pair held my attention fully on October 29, 2026.
Episode 1: The plan and the guest list
The stepdad narrates the situation. He married Mom three years ago. His stepdaughter tells him to act normal, because Mom cannot find out.
The stepdaughter lays out the numbers: 40 guests, in this house, on Saturday. She then reveals a second move. She has also called Aunt Sarah, Mom's stepsister. The two have been out of touch for four years, and Sarah is coming anyway.
Mom comes in and wonders what the two of them are up to. The stepdaughter says it is a surprise, and Mom answers that she is not looking. The stepdad is left debating himself and admits that his stepdaughter is hot. She replies that she has seen him watching her, and she points out that Mom works until 6:00 tomorrow.
Episode 2: A week in this house
The stepdaughter shows him something for Saturday's party and asks whether it is too much. He says it is a lot. She tells him that this part is not for the guests.
She admits she dislikes parties and took on this one to get a week under the same roof as him. She tells him to say so if he wants her to go back to her apartment.
Then Mom's voice breaks in: she is home early and wants to know where they are. The narration closes on a warning that a big surprise is coming, and it is not the party.
