This Candy Shorts series follows Harriet, a nervous new temp, and the boss who takes an interest in her on day one. His PA is the third corner: she manages his calendar, wants his attention and treats Harriet as a threat. On October 29, 2026 I sat through both free episodes.
Episode 1: The first morning at the office
The PA is busy rearranging the boss's afternoon and tells him he would be lost without her. She is also angling for a Thursday client dinner for two, and his attention drifts to the new arrival. Harriet walks in on her first day, convinced she is out of place among polished colleagues and certain the boss will overlook her.
He notices her anyway. Harriet fumbles a greeting, and he tells her he preferred her first answer. When the PA reminds him of a morning meeting and the paperwork, he waves them off. He wants to walk Harriet around himself, and the episode ends as they leave together.
Episode 2: Company hoodies and office gossip
While the two are away, the office talks. The PA insists he is only showing Harriet a cupboard, and the staff are not convinced. He then offers Harriet a company T-shirt or hoodie, the kind worn at conferences and charity days, and steps out while she tries one.
Colleagues count the minutes they have been gone. Harriet comes back asking for black, because white adds weight on camera, and then swears at her boss. He answers that the shirt suits her, and when she asks whether he means the shirt or the swearing, he says "Both, actually."
Episodes 1 and 2: what the free part shows
