Where to watch Room 742 and what is free
Candy AI hosts all five episodes of Room 742 inside its Candy Shorts library. You open episode 1 with no sign-up and episode 2 once you hold a free account. Episodes 3, 4 and 5 are priced at 12 tokens apiece. For other free openers, read the free episodes guide. Prices checked October 29, 2026.
A room number is a generic title, so searches mix this series with other hotel dramas and short-video apps. This one is the Candy Shorts series: a traveler, a stranger and a wife.
There is no full movie. For links that claim to be one, see the Dailymotion guide and the page on leaked episodes.
A stranger already inside, then a knock: the setup
Room 742 is a Candy AI story told in the first person by the traveler, who arrives exhausted at a hotel and is assigned the room. A man is already inside, and the hotel has no other room to offer. I played both free episodes back to back on October 29, 2026.
Later in the run, his wife knocks and is not surprised to see the traveler: she picked them herself, and she does not want them to leave. She wants to be in the room as a watcher.
Episode 1: The room that is already taken
The traveler has been on the road since five in the morning and wants to change clothes. The door to 742 opens, and a man is already inside. "This is my room," the traveler says, then checks the number again.
A call to the front desk changes little, because no other room is available. The traveler gives in, heads off to change and tells the stranger, "Don't be weird." He stays quiet while the traveler changes out of sight, and the episode ends on the traveler asking if he plans to stand there all night.
Episode 2: Stuck with a silent guest
Episode 2 opens with the traveler irritated by the silence: he could have said something. The hotel offers no fix, so the two are stuck together. Questions about what he wants and who he is get no reply.
The traveler answers the silence by giving him a nickname. The stranger still does not speak, and the episode ends there.
How far episodes 1 and 2 go
Both free episodes on Candy AI stay clothed. The tension sits in one room, one guest who talks and one who does not, so what plays is talk and quiet. Room 742 rates Bracket 4 of 5, Moan, with explicit scenes once you pay. The Is It Porn? guide lays out all five levels, and the nudity page sorts titles by what they show.
The couple behind the door
Room 742 uses original Candy Shorts characters with no star name attached. The traveler stays unnamed, the stranger barely speaks, and his wife becomes the figure who drives the series once she arrives. All three are adults.
The story rests on a reversal. The man who looks like an intruder has a wife, and she chose the traveler from the start.
Room 742 cost: unlocking episodes 3 to 5
The three paid episodes take 12 tokens each, 36 tokens in total, checked October 29, 2026. The 3-month Premium plan costs $8.99 a month, $26.97 charged upfront, and adds 100 tokens a month, so one month of tokens pays for all three at once.
My Wife's Best Friend also has five episodes and two free openers, but it asks 30 tokens for each paid one, which totals 90 (checked October 29, 2026). The gap is 54 tokens. The token pricing page converts tokens to dollars, and the My Wife's Best Friend review covers that series.
Room 742 verdict
[Finish the run] Three more episodes cost 36 tokens, and the free pair ends with a silent stranger and no other room to go to. Checked October 29, 2026, judged on episodes 1 and 2. Next: compare other low-cost Candy Shorts runs on the series list.
